Hi, I am Grant Reid, originally from Glasgow, Scotland. I now live happily in Omaha, Nebraska. I started my own photography business in 2002 shooting weddings, events, family portraits and commercial projects. My background is in fashion from which I have attained a Masters in Fashion from Domus Academy in Milan, Italy.

Natural, candid and relaxed define my style of photography. I aim to capture moments and memories for my clients through my photography and express the story and character of the subject. My personal passions are travel and people.

Photography to me is about capturing a moment in time, a split second, barely visible to the naked eye. Only when the image is captured at the touch of a button are we both dazzled and amazed by the findings.

When i approach a canvas, a blank canvas as all artists do, there is no objective. My aim is to create a piece that is distinctive, and for me, pushes the boundaries. I never like to repeat myself in any format. It’s about the surprise element which I thrive upon; when you finish a piece and look upon it as something you thought you were never able to achieve or create—it is revealing.
